International Foundation Year at Malvern House

An International Foundation Year is an access to University programme that prepares International students for first year entry to an undergraduate degree course in a western, English Language medium university. It gives students the opportunity to immerse themselves in the study methods for learning development and assessment in the UK, whilst also improving their ability to communicate and study effectively in English.

The NCUK IFY programme provided by Malvern House London has two streams, Business and Humanities, allowing students great flexibility when it comes to choosing a subject and a university to continue on to. Both streams are similar in content and choice of degree programmes available. However, the humanities programme is for those who prefer to follow a non-mathematics stream, whereas the business stream allows progression to an even wider range of business and humanities degree courses .

The first step on this academic journey is enrolment on the course and our supportive staff are here to help along the way. Students wishing to take the IFY course need to be a minimum of 17 years old, have an English level of IELTS 5.0 or equivalent, if starting in September, and 5.5, if in January, and also a high school leaving certificate. High school leaving certificates can differ around the world so please refer to our website for more information on the requirements for your country.
